We are committed to providing need-based support to eligible patients, enabling access to critical medical treatments with dignity, fairness, and care.Through a structured and transparent evaluation process, each application is carefully reviewed based on medical urgency and financial need. This ensures that assistance is directed to those who need it most.The program currently supports selected cardiac procedures, helping patients receive timely treatment and improved health outcomes.

Applying for medical assistance is simple and transparent.
Patients are assessed by a KIH consultant or referred from another hospital.
The KHF Coordinator reviews the patient profile and required documents.
The patient completes the screening and application form.
Financial information, references, and supporting documents are verified.
The Technical Committee evaluates the medical condition and urgency.
The Approval Committee reviews and approves eligible cases.
Approved patients receive treatment and follow-up support.

Rehmat Hussain, a 53-year-old security guard and sole provider for his family of seven, was struggling with worsening chest pain and breathlessness. Despite his condition, financial limitations delayed his treatment until his health became critical. He was diagnosed with severe coronary artery disease requiring urgent intervention. Through Kulsum Healthcare Foundation, Rehmat received timely diagnostic care, coronary angioplasty, and follow-up treatment. After recovery, his symptoms resolved, and he was able to return to work and support his family once again.
Israr Ahmed, a 44-year-old office assistant and father of four, suddenly developed severe abdominal pain that made it impossible for him to work. He was diagnosed with acute appendicitis requiring emergency surgery, but could not afford treatment. Through Kulsum Healthcare Foundation, he received immediate surgery, hospitalization, and post-operative care. His recovery was smooth, allowing him to return to work and support his family.
Eighteen-year-old Kashmala Anwar had lived with fatigue and weakness since childhood but never gave up on her education. Her condition worsened when she experienced severe chest pain during exams and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (Atrial Septal Defect). Surgery was urgently needed, but beyond her family’s financial reach. With support from Kulsum Healthcare Foundation, she underwent successful cardiac surgery and post-operative care. Today, Kashmala is healthy, energetic, and back to her studies. “They gave our daughter a chance at a normal life.”
